The Razer Kaira Pro is the name of the latest headset from the famous gaming accessory manufacturer; one that marks a number of firsts for the said company. Namely, this is touted as the first headset designed specifically for cloud gaming applications. So, streaming services in the vein of Microsoft’s xCloud and Google Stadia, for example. Though Razer claims the Kaira Pro has been optimized specifically for the former, so you can expect lower latency and higher audio quality compared to other solutions on the market. What’s more, the Razer Kaira Pro is touted as the company’s best Xbox gaming headset to date due to the fact it has also been optimized to work with the upcoming Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles as seamlessly as possible. Meaning it should be a textbook example of a plug-and-play solution, except not even the plugging part will necessarily be true seeing how we are looking at a wireless device that only has to be physically connected to a charger, not the actual system it pulls the audio from. The Kaira Pro uses Bluetooth 5.0 and is available for pre-orders in the United States as of today. It is priced at $149.99 and can currently only be pre-booked from Razer itself. Stateside distributors will begin stocking the device at some point before the end of the year, however.
